I didn't see the Ireland V Italy game but ths score says it all I feel.

Watched England V Wales on TV in a pub. The Taffs made a comeback in the second half but just didn't have the power and did suffer from the sin-bining of Wyn Jones earlier on. I await the Scotland V France game today with interest.

Well I await the Scotland game with trepidation, apprehension and concern.

However I am also really looking forward to it. If it was snowing cold and uncomfortable I would give us a greater chance. if the weather is pleasant and sunny I fear that the french will have the upper hand. We have not won the opening game of this competition since 2006.

But I cant wait till 3 o'clock...now where's that bottle of Highland Park.....????

Like yourself VM I feel it it would be nice to see the Jocks win but I am also a realist. Still as the match is at Murrayfield they do have home advantage.

I will probably be in a pub watching it with a decent supply of Jura to hand.

Warriors beat London Irish 19-9 in a fine display of running rugby. Alcester U16's beat Warley 47-0 in similar fashion.

My legs are knackered after refereeing the Colts match at Alcester. 17 year old boys have far too much testosterone!

Fiji has always been a very strong side. NZ lost to Samoa in the semis. With 7 a side and 7 minutes play each way, there is a lot of luck as well as skill in the game

However, NZ is still in the lead on the points table although Fiji is closing in. The next tournament is in Los Angeles this coming weekend.

Oh and by the way, USA beat Scotland!!!

Sanza has announced that Refs will be invited to participate in after match press Conferences - Which will be interesting - the Local Refs are keen, wonder how Stu and other Northern Refs like the idea- It will certainly be great to hear some of the "Why did he do that's" explained
